Matt McCaslin

Matt McCaslin founded Standout Resources Group in 2015, and began his career adventure in recruiting and staffing in 2003. Matt arrived at Standout Resources Group by way of top performances in account management, branch leadership, recruiting, and sales at leading recruiting and staffing companies in Metro Atlanta. His industry journey has been paved with President's Club award-winning attainment in both sales and recruiting on a national scale, awards and accolades for both sales and branch management performances in local markets, certifications from the American Staffing Association, and so much more. He will be the first to tell you that his success is attributed to the unrivaled loyalty of his clients, connections, and network of amazing people and organizations.

Matt is a native to Georgia, who lives, works and plays in Cobb County. He spent his high school days at North Cobb High School and received his BBA in Management from Kennesaw State University, where he also expressed his love for the arts through playing the trumpet and vocal performances.

When not giving his time to clients, candidates and his community, Matt enjoys being an active Husband and Father to his wife, Jessica, and their two boys, Keegan and Kayson. You can find Matt, as an avid sports fan, rooting on Atlanta's Braves, Hawks and Falcons, and all athletics at his Alma Mater Kennesaw State Owls. He also enjoys music, chasing a small white ball across a course, hunting, fishing, being an active member of his church, playing softball and coaching youth sports.

James Furness

James Furness joined Standout Resources Group in 2021, and began his journey in recruiting and staffing in 2001. James has worked for some of the top recruitment firms holding leaderships roles in both recruiting and sales since 2006. He has led three firms to acquisition and truly enjoys working with his teams to ensure both quality and a good work/life balance. 

James is a native Georgian and grew up in Cobb County. James played college basketball and is incredibly competitive. He is a member at Pinetree Country club and can be found playing golf on the weekends. James pursued a degree in Biochemistry from Kennesaw State University. 

James is the proud husband to his wife Kara and the father of two kids (Jakob and Kelyn) that bring him a ton of joy! He loves college football, baseball and getting into the woods whenever he can. James most enjoys family time of any kind and travelling whenever time allows! James also enjoys sharing his time with several charitable organizations within the local community.
